The 2010 National Specialty marks the 25th Anniversary of the AWSC.  Once again New London makes us and our dogs welcome.  "Welcome Home American Water Spaniels" read the signs as we drove into town in 2000.  That was our first homecoming. This year we are again being made most welcome for our Silver Anniversary event.

The National Specialty is a licensed AKC conformation dog show held specifically for the American Water Spaniel. It is a part of four consecutive days of events held during the month of August for the benefit of AWS owners and members of the AWSC. Events during these four days include the National Specialty, an Obedience Trial, Roustabout, AWSC Hunt Tests, AWS RCT, the club's annual meeting, an awards banquet, and much more.
